Donald E. Moore

Donald Moore presented an overview of SCC accomplishments in 2002, and shared the corporation's future objectives and goals for 2003, a few of which included, improving the monitoring process of Affirmative Action, establishing SCC regional offices and the implementation of LEED and sustainability into school design.

The audience nodded in agreement to Moore's comments that sustainable/green elements aid in creating healthy learning environments that benefit the educational process. Accordingly, Moore emphasized that these essential elements should be incorporated into all school improvement projects as a rudimental part of good design practices, and not as additional features provided with increased cost to the overall budget. Moore concluded by encouraging participation in the NJSCC program, and entertained questions from his audience.
