On one stop, students and administrators of the J.P. Cleary Middle School in Buena discussed the positive impact the recently completed one-story, 4,960-square-foot addition has had on their quality of education. The $812,642 expansion included an additional 3 classrooms in the Buena Regional School District facility in Atlantic County.

During the tour, SCC officials also visited the Woodlynne School in Woodlynne where an addition opened to students at the start of the school year. Other stops included Cold Springs School in Gloucester City (construction is 40% complete); an Early Childhood Center (ECC) at Buckshutem School, Bridgeton (80% complete); an ECC in Millville (work has just begun); and the E.R. Johnstone School in Vineland (98% complete).

The SCC-managed projects have received funding through New Jersey's $8.6 billion school construction program that is helping to revitalize communities and bring jobs and targeted growth to the areas.
