SDA Board

Authority members, including committee assignments, and the schedule, agenda, materials and minutes of public meetings are detailed in this section. The members of the Authority collectively function as a board.

As required under new legislation, the board has been reconstituted. Appointments by the Governor are on an interim basis, under authority granted by the State Constitution. Permanent appointments, which require Senate confirmation, will be made after the Senate reconvenes in November.

The permanent board will consist of the Commissioner of Education, the Commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs, the Treasurer, the Executive Director of the Economic Development Authority and 11 public members. At least one public member must have expertise in law enforcement, while the remaining public members must have knowledge or expertise in real estate development, construction management, finance, architectural or building design, or any other related field.
