What's the difference between HTML and Text?

HTML Format

Our HTML Email Format messages may include formatted text, full-color photos and dynamic graphic content. HTML messages are more pleasing to the eye than plain text email messages, but they are not compatible with all Email Programs. If HTML messages are not compatible with your Email Program, they may appear as encoded text, and will likely be unreadable. If you're uncertain if your email program supports HTML email messages, choose the Text option instead.

TEXT Format

Our Text Email Format is just that - plain text. It is compatible with all Email Programs, but sacrifices the dynamic content and functionality found in HTML messages. Text emails may or may not include hyperlinks that can be clicked to open web pages
